Financing

Fix it now, pay over 101 days

An unsafe car should not have to wait for payday. Our payment plan needs no credit and is approved right at the counter.

How it works

Apply at the counter

No credit needed

Approval happens while you wait, on the repair you are already there for.

Drive out the same day

Same visit

The repair goes ahead as soon as it is approved, on most jobs the same day.

Pay it down

101 days

Spread across the months that follow, starting the day you drive out.

Terms, eligibility and any fees are set by the finance provider. Ask at the counter for the current agreement before signing, the figures above describe the plan, not a quote.

Being straight about it

When spreading
the cost is the
right call

Not every repair needs financing, and we would rather tell you that than sign you up for something you did not need.

Repairs that should not wait

Anything that decides whether the car stops or steers. Brakes that are grinding are metal on metal and are damaging the rotors every mile. A worn ball joint or tie rod in the steering can let go without warning. Tires below the wear bars have no business on a wet Fenkell in November. These are the ones worth financing rather than postponing, because postponing them costs more in every sense.

Repairs that are getting worse while you wait

A flashing check engine light can destroy a catalytic converter in a few miles, which turns a small repair into an expensive one. An exhaust leak ahead of the cabin puts fumes where you breathe. A transmission running low on fluid because of a leak is wearing itself out while it drives. Waiting on these does not save money, it just moves the bill.

Repairs that can genuinely wait

Some things are worth knowing about and not worth borrowing for yet: a shock that is soft but not leaking, a small weep from a gasket, pads with a few millimeters left. We will tell you which of your list is in this group and roughly how long it has, so you can plan the work instead of doing all of it in one go. That conversation is free and it is the point of the inspection.

Questions about the plan

Do I need good credit?

No. The plan is designed for drivers who need a repair now and would not clear a traditional credit check.

How long does approval take?

It is done at the counter while you wait, not sent away overnight.

Can I use it on any repair?

It applies to every repair we do here, from brakes and exhaust through to suspension, A/C and electrical work.

What if I want to pay it off early?

Ask at the counter. The provider sets the terms and we will show you them before you sign anything.

Do I have to decide before you look at the car?

No, and you should not have to. Bring it in, let us put it on the lift, and you will have the free inspection and a written figure in your hand first. The plan is something you decide about a number you have already seen, not a reason to say yes to a number you have not.

Will using the plan change the price of the repair?

The repair is quoted the same either way. What the plan costs is set by the finance provider and shown to you in their agreement before you sign, which is exactly why we point you at that paperwork rather than describing it ourselves.

Ask about it when you come in

Bring the car, get the quote, and we will tell you what the plan looks like on that figure.
