What we collect
If you fill in the quote form on this site, we collect the name, phone number, vehicle details and description you type into it, and your email address if you choose to give one. That is the only information this site asks you for. We do not require an account and there is nothing to log in to.
Like any web server, ours records standard technical information about requests, such as the page requested and the browser making the request. That information is used to keep the site running and is not used to identify you.
What we do with it
We use what you send through the quote form for one purpose: to reply to you about your vehicle. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anybody who is not working on your enquiry.
If you become a customer, your details are kept with your repair records the same way they would be if you had walked into the shop and given them at the counter.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us about the same vehicle. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tags to measure how the site is used and how well its advertising works. They set cookies in your browser and send Google information about the pages you visit, your approximate location and the device you are on. We read it in aggregate, to see which pages help people and which do not. The map on the contact page is embedded from Google Maps and may set cookies of its own when it loads. In each case the processing is Google’s and their privacy policy covers it. You can block all of it with your browser settings or a tracker blocker, and the site works normally without it.
