About these terms
These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the terms of a repair. The agreement for any work on your vehicle is the written estimate you approve at the counter, and that document governs the work itself.
Quotes and estimates
Nothing on this site is a quote. Prices, timescales and availability described here are general information, and repair pricing depends on the vehicle and on what we find once it is on a lift. A quote is a written figure we give you for your specific vehicle, and it is the only figure that binds either of us.
Submitting the form on this site does not book an appointment and does not oblige either side to anything. It starts a conversation.
Accuracy of what is written here
The guidance on this site, including the articles, is written from what we see in the shop and is offered in good faith as general information. It is not a diagnosis of your vehicle. No article can tell you what is wrong with a car it has not been under, and nothing here should be relied on in place of having the vehicle inspected.
Safety
If any part of this site suggests that a symptom may be urgent, treat that as a reason to stop and have the vehicle looked at rather than as advice that it is safe to continue. Judging whether a vehicle is safe to drive is your responsibility and, where you are unsure, a phone call to us costs nothing.
